Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga is one of the most discussed names in T20 leagues worldwide.

Primarily a legspinner, Wanindu can also score quick runs while batting in the lower middle-order.

1) On 29 July 1997, Hasaranga was born in the city of Galle in Sri Lanka

2) He started his cricket career while studying at Richmond College in Galle

3) In November 2015, Hasaranga made his List A debut in the AIA Premier Limited Over Tournament.

4) In February 2016, he made his first-class debut for Sri Lanka Ports Authority Cricket Club
