Born 13th August 1975, Shoaib Akhtar is a former Pakistani fast bowler and cricket commentator.
Nicknamed “Rawalpindi Express”, widely regarded as the fastest bowler in cricket’s history, Shoaib bowled the fastest delivery at 161.3 km/h (100.23 mph)
Shoaib was a complete match-winner with the ball and had the 5th highest bowling strike rate in ODIs for bowlers with more than 200 wickets.
After struggling with a knee injury, he ended his career in 2011, picking 178 tests and 247 ODI wickets.
Born 13th August 1979, Lisa Sthalekar is a former Australian all-rounder and cricket commentator.
One of womens cricket’s best all-rounders, Lisa made her international debut in 2001.
An effective off-spinner and a superb middle-order batswoman, Lisa was the first player to reach 1000 runs and 100 wickets in Women’s ODIs.
Lisa scored 416 test runs, 2728 ODI runs, and 769 T20I runs and picked 229 international wickets in her career before retiring in 2013.
Lisa also played for the Sydney Sixers in Women’s Big Bash League (BBL), and in 2020, was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.
Born 13th August 1988, Jonathan Wells is an Australian cricketer who plays for Western Australia in Sheffield Shield trophy and one-day cricket.
Jonathan made his first-class debut for Tasmania in 2008, but only in 2015, he established himself as a middle-order batsman.
He is a regular member of Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League (BBL) and scored 478 runs in the 2019-20 season.
Wells also plays for Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League.
Born 13th August 1981, Peter Connell is an Irish cricketer who made his debut for Ireland in 2008
He was an essential member of the Ireland cricket team that was successful in the 2007–08 ICC Intercontinental Cup.
Peter has represented Ireland in both ODIs and T20Is, and Cricket Ireland gave him a Category-C contract in 2012
He played 13 ODIs and 9T20Is for Cricket Ireland before his retirement
